World Read Aloud Day
Thursday, February 1, 2018, has been named "World Read Aloud Day" by an organization called Litworld.
As stated on their website, " LitWorld is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded by literacy expert Pam Allyn in 2007. LitWorld works with a broad coalition of national and international partners to ensure that young people worldwide can experience the joy and transformation of reading, writing, and storytelling."
The vision for "World Read Aloud Day" is to get people all around the globe to read together and share stories to advocate for literacy!
This newsletter has been created to encourage reading aloud at home on February 1st and every day! We hope students and families are inspired by our SUPER educators and students!
