Mission: to get safer products in the hands of everyone!
BeautyCounter prides itself in the transparency of their ingredients. They do not use sulfates, parabens, synthetic fillers or fragrance. There are 1,500 ingredients that they pledge never to use in their products.
I feel very passionate about the company's mission and the safe products they deliver that I have decided to join BeautyCounter to help spread awareness. Our skin is our largest organ and what you put on it matters a lot. My hope is to encourage my friends and family to educate themselves on the impact these toxic chemicals can have on our health and the health of those around us and to consider making changes. I encourage you to research the ingredients in the products you are currently using by referring to EWG's Skin Deep database and The Never List on BeautyCounter's website. As a mom, the health and safety of my family is extremely important. Partnering with a company who is striving to change legislation to make products safer for our generation and future generations allows me to contribute to the health of my family.
If you have any questions about BeautyCounter or the products, I would love to talk with you. You can also visit my website http://www.beautycounter.com/fotininottingham/ to view the products and learn more about the company. If you decide you would like to try some products, you have 60 days to return anything you are not satisfied with.
I have attached a short video below that is a great introduction into the mission behind BeautyCounter.
I look forward to talking with you,
- There are about 10,000 chemicals commonly found in personal care products —only 10% of those chemicals have safety data.
- The United States has not passed a federal law to regulate the ingredients used in personal care products since 1938.
- Even more troubling, chemicals linked to breast cancer, learning disabilities, infertility, and other health issues are allowed in the products we use every day.
We Deserve Better. At BeautyCounter, we are doing something about it.
