Inside Out
A review based on Aristotle's ideas for great theater
A beautiful film even Aristotle would like
Plot- Inside Riley's head there are five emotions, of the five sadness and joy go on a journey and learn it's okay to be sad sometimes because without sadness there couldn't be happiness.
Character- Riley and her family along with her emotions; sadness, joy, anger, fear, and disgust are featured in the film.
Thought- The theme of the film is that it's okay to be sad because without sadness there can't be happiness.
Diction- "All right! We did not die today, I call that an unqualified success."and "I'm too sad to walk. Just give me a few... hours." The film tries to keep a light and humorous tone during the story.
Sound- The film had music meant for emotion, nothing with words, but it created the mood in different scenes.
Spectacle- Riley's new home in San Francisco being old and unclean.
