Homework

Week of 2/1-2/5

Parent Tips:

**If your child has extra time at home this week, please have them work on IXL Math. You can find their individual login & passwords in the WHALE Folders. We are currently working on completing level H skills in class. The students can work on level H, or any in progress skill they have not yet completed. Please discuss REGULAR PLURAL NOUNS whenever appropriate during nightly reading with your child- especially changing -y to -ies. Have the children identify the different types (s, es, ies) of regular plural nouns on a page.**Have you heard your child mention presenting in class and needing to write about it? If you have, please know that our "special speaker presentation time" originated by demand. In order to sign up to present at the end of the day- the students must a.) sign up for a specific day of the week, and b.) write something about their presentation topic of choice. This is NOT a required assignment. Please let us know if you have any questions about this topic! **Anyone interested in helping our class prepare for the greatest community meeting the likes of Woodward Primary has ever seen?? Our class has selected to share about the United Nations Global Goals for Sustainable Development! Our Community Meeting will be April 8th. We invite all of you creative, innovative parents to join in with any ideas! When you have a moment, please check out: www.globalgoals.org for more information.
