IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

New Cell Phone Policy

At the beginning of Semester 2 (effective January 28, 2020), students will not be allowed to use their cell phones during nutrition and lunch in alignment with all other middle schools within our district. Cell phone use in the classroom will continue to be permitted with teacher granted permission for educational purposes.

Administrators and counselors will be presenting information to students prior to the end of semester 1 as we transition to this new site policy. Cell phones are allowed on campus but must be powered off or silenced during the instructional day (9 a.m.-3:13 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-1:35 p.m. on Fridays).

DATA will continue to support the use of student issued technology (Chromebook) during nutrition and lunch in approved designated areas.
