Haiti's population is 10,461,409. Haiti is also known as a poor country. 78% of Haitians live on less than $2 a day. Potable water is drinking water but more than 70% do not have access to that water.

Haiti's Water Issues
Haiti doesn't have a lot of water. When they cannot afford water they resort to gather water from garbage filled rivers. In 2010 a massive earthquake occurred in Haiti , the outcome of the earthquake was less water available. Earthquakes damage wells and water systems.
The Outcome of Contaminated Water
More than 50% causes of death is because contaminated water. Contaminated water is leading childhood illness. As well as Typhoid, Cholera, and Chronic Diarrhea.
Possible Solutions
Possible solutions are to create a foundation to install new and approved wells. Get a filtration system to filter the polluted water. Contact missionaries to help bring water and to install water systems. Get a group to help pick up the trash.
