Lady Roos Beat San Angelo Central 57-51!

When it's playoff time, it's easy to tell. Every player knows it's lose and go home. It changes everything. Well it was back and forth until the 4th quarter when the lady Roos went up 10 and had to hold on and hit free throws down the stretch to earn a win 57-51 over San Angelo Central.

Gracie Ferguson had the hot hand again making it two games in a row hitting 4 threes ending up with 24 points, and Vasha Moore had 14.

The lady Roos will face El Paso Franklin who won district 1-6A and defeated Lubbock Coronado last night at a time, date, and site to be determined later today in the area round this week.

Thanks to everyone who made the trip to McMurry for your support. Lady Roos for Life.

Come out and support our Track and Field Team at the Roo Relays this Saturday at Roo Stadium!

Hey ladies, do you have a lonely dress taking up space in your closet? Don't let that dress go to waste! Bring it to the Dress Exchange!

Green Team is collecting any and all dresses of dress-ups past. If you have a dress you no longer want, say, from previous proms, homecomings, or banquets, then bring it by Ms. Keo's room, K-204, so we can find it a new home! Announcement from Health Science Technology: Kyra Stevens and Bree McKee made state level competition with HOSA CERT.

The Weatherford FFA Tractor Technician Team

The Weatherford FFA Tractor Technician Team traveled to Texas State Technical College, in Waco, to compete in the Area Tractor Tech Qualifying Contest. Sixteen teams from Wolfe City to Academy, TX came to compete for a chance to qualify for the State Tractor Tech Competition to be held at the Houston Stock Show in March. Only the top two teams from each FFA Area are invited to attend.

Andy Wiley, Kaleb Watson, Ryan Carper, and Trevor Brunz took second place overall and earned their spot in the State Finals. In addition, Andy was second overall, individually, and Kaleb was high individual in the Tractor Components section. Trevor Brunz was first overall in the Alternates division.

The FFA Tractor Technician Contest is a rigorous competition that puts contestants through a 100-qustion written exam, a 100-question components practicum, and a 30 minute challenge to find and repair 5 faults on a given tractor, get it to start/run, and safely and correctly navigate the tractor through the safety course.

The Weatherford FFA Advisors would like to sincerely thank all of the WHS staff for working with our students. Our program requires our students to keep a unique and diverse schedule, and you guys make that possible.
