Principal Petrick Message
This week Janet Rabe announced her intentions to retire. Words can’t properly express how important Janet has been to the Farmington View community over the last several decades. She has brought so much passion and given so much energy to our school and students. I know I speak for many when I say that we are excited to find ways to keep Janet connected to FVES over the coming years. Janet is excited to have more freedom and cherish time with her family, particularly with her mother who is advancing in age. We will be working on a transition plan for advanced math at FVES over the coming months.
Thank you Janet for being so AWESOME!
Have a great weekend everyone!

FVPAE Needs Can Driver Volunteer
Farmington View's Can and Bottle Recycling Program is looking for a volunteer to take over transporting the bags of sorted cans/bottles to the Oregon Beverage and Recycling Center in East Portland. Our current volunteer, Dick Meeuwsen, is an FVES alumni father who continues to do FVPAE a huge service out of the kindness of his heart! He is needing to "retire" from his volunteer position due to health reasons but is willing to stick around to show the new volunteer the ropes. If you're interested in volunteering or have questions please contact Natasha at natasha.garcia93@gmail.com.
Details: He uses an 18ft trailer but 16ft would also work. Typically he takes one load per month, although it has increased to two loads since COVID started.
