A thankful heart...

I hope the Thanksgiving weekend was filled with special times with family and friends. My husband and I celebrated our first Thanksgiving in our Ann Arbor home and we were blessed to spend time with all 5 of our kids! We have so much to be thankful for as parents!

As we wrap up the long weekend and the celebration of Thanksgiving, I want you all to know how very thankful I am to serve this school community. I am thankful for your partnership as we work together to ensure our students needs are met (academically and emotionally). I am thankful for your support in all that we do at Oakley Park. And I am so thankful for the outstanding staff that serves our students each day.

I wish you all a wonderful week ahead!

Adpot a Family

Once again, the Oakley Park school community is coming together to help provide less fortunate families with a holiday that they deserve. Because of our OPE community's continuous generosity we have decided to adopt 4 families this year. These families live in our local area and have been identified to us as low-income or at risk through the WLCSD Head Start/GSRP program.

Please consider taking on one (or more!) of the requested gift donations listed in the sign-up genius. Thank you for your support as we help make the holidays a little brighter for these families!
