The Nature
Located in Northern Asia, you can experience Mongolia's continental climate, and our dry weather! Marvel at our gorgeous desert steppes and our luscious mountain forest! It's a landlocked country, so it isn't near any large body of water. This had led to a limit of natural fresh water. Mongolia is surrounded by Russia China and Kazakhstan.
The People
Meet the wonderful citizens of Mongolia! Mongolia has a nice variety of different people. Their main religion is Buddhism, and lesser ones included Christianity and Shamanism. Languages spoken there include Khalkha, Turkic, and even Russian. Mongolians are very hospitable people and place a high value on family and friends. People who live in the more rural areas of Mongolia live a very nomadic life. They live in gers,(a round, portable tent), raise livestock, and live around campsites. Their arts include things like pottery, painting, and crafting things like saddles and blankets.
The Culture
Mongolia has a rich and vibrant culture. There are seven ethnic groups that mainly occupy Mongolia. Including Khlakh Mongols, Kazak, and Dorvod. They have some odd taboos. Such as not being allowed to pet a herder's dogs, and women not being able to sit cross-legged in a ger . Their society has improved over the years, by having healthier drinking water, gender equality, and achieving higher education. Ever since the Soviets gave them aid after World War II, the have experienced rapid urbanization. Trade also inspired them to develop a free market.
