Having a Growth Mindset
As you know we unveiled our Genius Hour unit with students this week. This has been such an exciting time for all of us and we unleash our creativity and combine our passions with what we have been learning about our animals during writing. Although this has been a wonderful and thought provoking process, some students will start to experience some challenges and they delve into their research and project development. Please encourage your student to look at their struggles as an opportunity to learn and to have a growth mindset. We will be finding ways to persevere through our challenges and to look a failure as an opportunity to learn. This will be an incredible learning adventure for all of us and I cannot wait to see the wonderful learning that takes place!
