DARS and Bookshare

In the afternoon Karen Beard with bookshare will be here to present reviews and updates on Bookshare.

These are not advertised on the ESC11 website or available for registration yet.

Bookshare Overview

Karen Beard (Bookshare representative) will be here to provide an introduction to Bookshare and answer questions about this service. Bookshare is an online library of digitally accessible books that is free for students who qualify as having a physical basis for a print disability. Bookshare's library of over 206,000 books includes not only fiction and non-fiction books, but also includes textbooks used in Texas schools. The workshop will include a broad overview of Bookshare for new users and an update of new tools for participants returning to Bookshare.
