The Club Fair held last Saturday was a huge success.
We had over 225 people join us! Thank you to all the club representives that discussed the benifiets of their orginizations. Special Shout out too the STUCO officers that helped orginize the event and moderiate it as well.

National Merit Semi-Finalist!
Over 1.5 million students from around the nation took the PSAT, in October-from that, the 50,000 highest PSAT scorers in the Nation, only about 34,000 are either commended with only 16,000 being National merit semi-finalists.

Requests to level down will be accepted starting Tues, Sept 8. The level change form will be available on our website: Counseling / Course Change Form.
Please note: No student will be automatically granted a level change. Requests will be approved or denied on a case by case basis. Forms are submitted to Mr. Yim, Assistant Principal, for initial review, then teachers and dept head for their approval.

Final Textbook Distribution Dates
Textbook distribution will be on Tuesday (September 15) and Wednesday (September 16) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pick up will be in the front of the building.
As a reminder, if you still have a textbook from last year, that textbook must be returned before you receive this years textbooks.

October 1st is the official day that FAFSA opens and we Bulldogs will be ready!
The acronym FAFSA stands for: Free Application for Federal Student Aid and this is a very important piece in funding your student’s education. Regardless of whether you have been saving for college or not, please note that applying for FAFSA can affect some scholarship opportunities that may be available for your student.
On September 29th from 6PM-7:15PM, we will be hosting our virtual FAFSA/Financial Literacy Night. During this virtual event, we will discuss what is needed to equip your student for success. Please join us! The link to the event is posted below.

Behavioral Health and Wellness Department
The Behavioral Health and Wellness Department is hosting a parent webinar, Coping with Change: A Conversation About Navigating Uncertainty, on Tuesday, September 15, from 6-7 p.m.
The role of supporting student, parent, and caregiver wellness is of utmost importance in these constantly evolving and uncertain times. Families are learning to manage ongoing changes in day-to-day life, and the upcoming school year may present a whole new set of unknowns.
While we all are doing the best we can together, it can begin to take a toll on everyone. Please join our team of licensed therapists for a conversation about navigating uncertainty, coping with change, tips for online learning, and making time to take care of yourself.
Crime Stoppers Outreach Day
The purpose of this virtual event is to empower parents to stay on top of their families' safety through education on important safety precautions and potential online dangers kids are exposed to in today’s society.
