At Home Learning
Classroom teachers have shared this week's learning via SeeSaw. Please remember that the work is there for the week to be done when it works for your family. Getting into a routine of doing some school work each day is helpful and comfortable for students.
Also shared today were lessons for Music, Art and PE. These lessons should be completed at any time during the week. Again, they do not need to be done all at once and can be done together if you have multiple children at Magee. :)
Mrs. Jones created this helpful video to help you navigate through SeeSaw with your student to see what activites are shared for each class your child is in.
Teachers are available to set up Google Meet times with students. Please reach out to your child's teacher to set one up.

Student KMSD Email Accounts
A reminder that student email accounts should be used for KMSD educational purposes only. They should not be used to sign up for other social media or online activities such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Although most of our students are too young for the requirements of these platforms, it does happen. If you wish to sign your child up, you would need to create a different email account not associated with KMSD. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Principal Chat on Google Meet!
Participants on the call would like to see it happen weekly, and on the weekends. Our next two calls will be on GOOGLE MEET - Sunday, April 19 at 11AM, Thursday, April 23 at 6:30PM, and Friday, May 1 at 1:00 PM.
On April 11 discussion topics included:
- Appreciation for the work staff is putting in and continuing to personalize learning for students.
- Assignments a good fit for most. Optional/above and beyond activities are appreciated.
- Daily morning meetings are great to keep in touch, students seeing each other, and developing active listening skills. Could there also be an afternoon check in or vary time?
- Some student are doing the bare minimum and are "done", how can we (teachers) help students know to be continuous learners and to do their best work? And help parents communicate that expectation to students.
- Keep having the weekly Principal meetings, some varied times are upcoming.
Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate it! Thank you, also, for joining the call from your home, your garage, your car, or wherever you are! Together, we've got this!
