Getting Creative in Gym Class

Mr. Wojciechowicz (Wojo) and Mr. Sator at Spaulding School have had to get creative with their physical education classes this year. Mr. Wojo presents daily words and places them on a word wall (in his garage), discusses famous athletes (this month they celebrate ones for Hispanic Heritage Month), shows videos on body systems or nutrition, and incorporates his own videos to teach stretching and cardiovascular exercises. His daughter Alexa even made a few guest appearances. Meanwhile, Mr. Sator's students created a home exercise course and an obstacle course. He often uses number and letter cards in lessons and personally demonstrates actions for class.
