If paying online at PaySchoolsCentral, please be sure you are clicking on "Fees" and not school "Lunches". The PaySchoolsCentral app defaults to lunches so you will need to choose fees so that when you pay, you aren't adding money to the lunch account.
October 12 - PSAT Schedule - 9th, 10th and 11th Graders
On Wednesday, October 12, we will be administering the PSAT to ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade students. Students should plan to arrive at school on time to begin testing promptly at 7:45 a.m. You will receive email communication on Monday, October 10, that will let students know what room they are to report to on October 12, as well as reminders of what items they need to bring for testing. Students will be dismissed from school upon completion of testing at approximately 12:30 p.m. All students may go to the cafeteria for lunch. Transportation for early dismissal will not be provided. Buses will run on the regular school day schedule. Students who will need to ride the bus home will be assigned a location at the high school until dismissal at 2:15pm. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Tate at tate.3@napls.us.
We have aligned our college readiness assessments from ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade by providing PSAT 9, PSAT 10, and PSAT/NMSQT. This will allow our students to receive predicted scores for the SAT, receive recommended Advanced Placement course enrollment and allow us to be able to identify strengths and weaknesses within our programming.
Use the following links to study and prepare for the PSAT:

We still recommend that students take both the ACT and the SAT as students may perform better on one of the tests. Eleventh grade students will take the SAT on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Mark your calendar!
October 12 - Online Senior Day - Attendance is Mandatory
Our ninth, tenth and eleventh grade students will be taking the PSAT all day, so this will be an online "Senior Day" full of information and opportunities.
Important Senior information will be presented in the morning meetings. Daily attendance will be taken and it is mandatory that all Seniors participate. We will have presentations by Jostens about ordering graduation supplies (cap, gown, announcements, etc), a presentation by Mr. McNichols about Service Learning, information on submitting your Senior Pictures, and signups for your free, student-designed NAHS Senior T-shirt.
The rest of the day, teachers will be available for college essay support, Senior Seminar class support, and Service Learning support. The time can also be used to complete schoolwork, college applications, college essays, Service Learning, or Senior Seminar project hours. Please use your time wisely and make the most of this opportunity to have support for your individual needs.
Please see the link above to sign up for specific support. If you have questions, please email Mrs. Cheney at cheney.1@napls.us. Signups for essay and other support are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and slots will go quickly, so sign up soon. We look forward to sharing this time and opportunity for support with you.

Attendance Procedures
TO PARENTS:
Early Dismissal Procedure
If a student must leave early during the school day, a request for an early dismissal should be submitted by the parent in advance to the Attendance Secretary through this electronic form: High School Early Dismissal Form. The link for the form is also available on the New Albany High School website under Early Dismissal request. Students must sign out in the Welcome Center or E Office at the time of their dismissal.
To be considered an excused absence, the reason must meet one of the criteria established by the Board of Education (Board Policy 5200).
TO STUDENTS:
If you are leaving early during the school day, you must get an early dismissal form from the Welcome Center so that you can leave class at the appropriate time. You are still required to sign out before you leave campus.
Sign-In Procedure
When arriving late to school or returning from an early dismissal, students can sign into the Welcome Center or in E Office.
Opt-Out Sign in Procedure
Students who have opt-out for first period are required to sign in at the Welcome Center or E Office when you arrive on campus to be considered present for the school day.
