Substitute Teacher Training
Local school districts need you! You can make a difference!
Schools in our area are facing an unprecedented shortage of substitute teachers. Guest teaching is fun and rewarding and highly qualified substitute teachers are needed to ensure uninterrupted learning in every classroom.
You may obtain a Wisconsin Substitute Teaching License if you hold an Associates degree or higher and complete an approved training program.
The CESA 10 Substitute Teacher Preparatory Program is designed to prepare participants to be effective substitute teachers. It begins with a comprehensive online program you may complete when it is most convenient for you. In addition, you may take advantage of one of several conveniently scheduled meetings to learn from seasoned professionals and local district leaders about how to be a great substitute teacher. Your enrollment includes one-on-one assistance in navigating the Department of Public Instruction’s licensing application process by appointment, at your convenience.
