Well I’m guessing you want to know who established the Great Smoky Mountains. His name was David Carpenter Chapman. Now am going to go out on a limb and say that it isn't easy to establish a whole park. I definitely think that it would be a titanic task. He was born on August 9, 1876 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He died on July 26, 1944, still in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was aged 67 when he died. Now you know what year the Great Smoky Mountains were established and who founded them.
