Social Media Safety

We continue to see an increase in inappropriate use of social media among students. We can't stress enough the importance of parents monitoring their kids' use of cell phones and social media.

Please have a conversation with your kids about the use of social media apps and the importance of taking safety measures to keep your children safe. For more information about please check out this article: Teaching Kids to Be Smart About Using Social Media.

Communicating With Students During The Day

There has been an increase in the amount of students contacting their families during the day through email, texting or messaging using their cell phones, smart watches or emails on their chromebooks. We ask for your help in not communicating with your student during the day unless it is an emergency to help limit the learning disruptions in our classrooms. Even when in an emergency situation, please contact our school directly so that we are aware of the situation and we can help get the student to the office ready to be picked up if necessary. If your child is not feeling well, our health office assistant will reach out to you. Thank you for your cooperation!
