Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
We appreciate and sincerely thank Dr. Maika and his executive staff, our School Board, the district executive directors and directors of our fine arts programs, library services, construction management & engineering, and construction team from Bartlett Cocke for attending this celebration.
I especially thank our PTA, including Melanie Gutierrez and Amy Wille who did a wonderful job decorating our campus, monogramming our blue ribbon, and putting together a great reception for our special guests. I also thank Career and Technical Education Teacher Mr. Trey Clark, for creating two exceptional videos, one showcasing our fine arts department, Family Consumer Science classroom, and library, and the other depicting the evolution of the phases of construction from breaking ground to completion. I thank our fine arts directors, Kimberly Young, Derrick Cabrera, Kimberly Mendez, and Phyllis Malone for coordinating our full orchestra performance of our National Anthem. I also thank our Theater Arts director, Ms. Kara Tindol, for selecting two excellent representatives to give the invocation and to lead us in the Pledges, Elijah Del Toro and Ashley Castillo. Finally, I thank our wonderful custodians, under the leadership of Head Custodian Eddie Martinez, for ensuring that our campus and buildings looked great for this ceremony!
