Whats My Motivation!!!!
How does one talk themselves out of there own bizarre rush zone and its only, oh..... 9 am. :-)
Learning how to push through those random dramatic moments are essential. Whether we've created it ourselves or it was brought on by our surroundings. Fortunately, there's a solution to everything. But we have to be willing to just Listen and then Respond.
In what way(s) do you notice God talking to you and during those times, how are you listening and responding? HIS timing is always so on point, but we often miss the mark because we're living in the fast lane of life. SLOW DOWN GIRLFRIEND!

PRAYER CORNER
A couple of things that I am feeling led to share this month are love and vision. What vision do you have for the ones you love? How about what vision do you have for the relationships you're in? From your children and husband (future hubby for our single mamas) to your neighbor and co workers. Now pray for those visions, speak life into that love. Love you all and know I am praying for you everyday.
Love, Dolores M.
Heavenly Father,
First and foremost thank you so much for all you have done and are going to do. We so love You! Lord you know each need of the women in Elevated Moms, you know the love they have and the visions they desire to come to life we know that with You all things are possible. Allow us to have courage to start relationships we've never had, courage to love like we didn't think possible. Guide our footsteps. We praise and bless You God. Amen.

PULLED CHICKEN - CROCK POT
This recipe has a Tex-Mex-inspired flavor. Once the chicken is prepared, you can use it in tacos, serve it over rice, or even try it in burritos. This is by far one of the easiest things in the world to cook; you can use your rice cooker or crock pot to make it. It only has a handful of ingredients and is a healthy and delicious way to eat chicken.
This recipe can feed an army; it will make 12 4-ounce servings. I usually prepare a week's worth at once. If you want to make less, divide all the ingredients accordingly.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 whole large onion, chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups salsa
- 1/4 cup red chili peppers (optional)
Directions
- Put all ingredients in the slow cooker, and mix by folding them over a few times.
- Set the cooker for 4 hours or more. From my experience, you can't really overcook this recipe. I've set it for 6 hours and it turned out the same. I've even put in frozen chicken and cooked for 7 hours. It still turned out great.
- When it's finished, stir the contents. The chicken should fall apart without much effort on your part. This is a sign it is done.
- Serve how you like! My personal favorite is on black rice with a little avocado and lime juice.

MOMMY MOMENT with Ashley Milton
I was one of very few girls at sixteen that my dream career was "motherhood." Flash forward, and here I am, living my dream. I love it, I'm blessed, and it's not perfect. I am continually dealing with two things that make me feel far from ideal. 1- Being just a mom. Motherhood was such an adjustment, I feared I lost myself being enraptured by her life, and what good to my daughter was I if I couldn't be a strong, creative, passionate woman myself?! Thankfully, that was never the case. Insecurities can certainly blow things out of proportion if we allow them!
My daughter Sophia will turn two in April, and she is just a sponge for knowledge, which brings me to my number 2- I am not enough. What do I have to offer her? This one is creeping up more than ever, and growing through it has been quite the revelation. Not just for motherhood, but for life. What I am, who I was created to be, is just enough. I am just the right size in spirit, strength, and capabilities for my family. Now I have the ammo I need to brush off those insecurities, and I hope now you do too. As we prepare our family for the arrival of our new baby this fall-- (Yes! I'm PREGNANT!!!) I refuse to allow anything to crush my joy, especially when I was created just for this. --Ashley Milton
