NYCDOE Push to Educate in the Area of Computer Sciences

This professional development has been designed to make the implementation of the new computer science program. Over the course of the next 10 weeks teachers will learn the basics of computer science, coding and how to implement 20 hours of coding into their k-12 classes. In addition to that, teacher will become familiar with the world wide Hour of Code and be ready to implement it in during the week of December 7th in their classrooms.

By the end of the professional development, teachers will walk away with a working knowledge of the website as well as a completed unit map that they can then implement into their classroom

Registration is limited

There are only 32 seats available at this time for the 10 weeks of Professional Development. Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis.
