Happy 1 Year Anniversary I Love Granville
The I Love Granville Program continues to be a success. However, we could always encourage people to shop locally. Now that the weather is getting a little nicer, let's encourage students to walk down the hill and shop locally. I need people to table NEXT THURSDAY and FRIDAY (3/4-3/5) from 11:30-12:30pm and/or 5pm-7pm in Slayter We have mugs to give away to students who sign up!! Let Molly know by 3/28 at 5pm if you are interested in Tabling.
Hiring Process for DSF
The change in the program will require upper-class students to live in First Year Residence Halls. Our charge is to educate First Year students. At this point, we have had a lot of Upper-Class students desire to live with their friends/in apartments rather than continue with the DSF program. This is understandable and okay! However, it opens up more room to hire applicants who have applied. Additionally, the selection and recruitment committee will hire FIRST YEAR students in October. These Fellows will serve for ONE year and their contract will end in May. They will not continue as fellows. Molly will be at next Monday's (3/31) meeting to explain more!
