Wellness Connection

Pittsford Schools Mental & Behavioral Health: ACCEPTANCE

Hello community members big and small!

Accepting ourselves during this time is essential to our own resiliency and to the resiliency of those around us. While the act of comparison can be valuable to our motivation and growth for a brighter future, it often leads to self-criticism and self-doubt. Practicing self-acceptance, acknowledging that we are all doing the best that we can on this particular day, in this particular moment, promotes mental and behavioral wellness. Likewise, “assuming good intentions” of others helps us to focus on ways to cope with current stressors in a positive way.

Now, more than ever, our Pittsford mission statement has never been more true.

The Pittsford Central School District community works collaboratively to inspire and prepare our students to be their best, do their best and make a difference in the lives of others.

Be well,
