Principal's Message

One week down! It wasn't without bumps and some major stress but we all did it. Thank you for your support and your patience. I know there is definitely some anxiety by all involved about getting it right and getting it right at this exact this moment. We will continue to get better as we get further into the year and get to know your students! I appreciate you!

Back to School Night, September 1

We will host our FIRST virtual Back to School Night on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST! There will be a whole school presentation sent to you on Tuesday. This will be a school year welcome and some important information/reminders.


Classroom breakout sessions will take place starting at 6:00 PM. Teachers will provide ample time for families to hear additional information about the school year. Teachers will provide meet links for their class and our release teachers will provide a meet area to answer questions.


Additionally, our release teachers (Mr. Bondy and Ms. Renfrow) will share links for Q and A opportunities.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLIES?

We have ended our scheduled distribution dates but have 83 remaining bags to be picked up. Please be advised that bags are available from 9-2 in the library. Knock on the library door opposite the main office door.


Also, if you need basic additional school supplies, please email your teacher and they will let me know what is needed and we can arrange for pick-up.

I need a device, how will I get one for my child?

If you need a device for your child (don't have a current one), please email our library tech, Maily Wester, at MailyW@fsusd.org


She will arrange a time and date for pick-up. The pick-up will include information on how to navigate turning on and accessing the Chromebook. That guide can also be found here:

My device is broken/not working, how do i get it fixed?

If your device stops working, please fill this form out: Chromebook Device Repair. Once we see the completed form, we will contact you to arrange a time to come to the site to have the book replaced or repaired. Please always bring the charger when you bring the Chromebook.


Please email me at SteveTr@fsusd.org if you need wireless/hotspot assistance. We don't have them in our possession yet but should soon. We are filling them as quickly as possible.

I am having technology issues during a meet/online learning (not broken device), what do I do?

Also, our District librarians are providing tech support. Parents can request technology support Monday through Friday from 8:00-3:00 by emailing our District Librarian team at askalibrarian@fsusd.org .

School Lunches

FSUSD is accepting meal applications for the 20-21 school year. If you would like to apply for free/reduced school meals please complete this online application at https://www.myschoolapps.com/ or navigate to the district webpage to read more information and/or download and print a paper copy.


New Process for School Meals in Phase 1 - Distance Learning

Once per week students can receive a box of food that will contain five breakfasts and five lunches. The box will be free of charge for any students that qualify for free or reduced meals. Students that do not qualify for free or reduced meals can pay $15 for the weekly box. Starting on Wednesday August 19th, any student can pick up a box on any following day from any one of the following locations from 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM:


Tuesdays - Grange Middle School

Wednesdays - Armijo High School

Thursdays - Green Valley Middle School

Fridays - Crystal Middle School


Student ID numbers will be required to receive a box and students can only receive one box per week. Students can not receive boxes from more than one location in the same week.

If you need to stop by our main office, please call ahead to make an appointment at 707-864-1905 or email our secretary SandiF@fsusd.org. Please bring your mask and all paperwork needed for registration (birth certificate, shot record, 2- proof of residency, and other school records that you may have). Thank you for your patience as we are getting all of our students into classes as fast as we can!

Cordelia Hills/Phases

FSUSD has created a Phased Plan for those who will remain enrolled at CHE for the 2020-2021 school year. Below is a short description of each phase:


Phase 5: Full in-person school under regular/Pre-COVID operating standards.

Phase 4: Full in-person school with safety protocols in place (5 days a week)

Phase 3: No more than 50% of students attending school at any given time (two days a week)

Phase 2: No more than 25% of students attending school at any given time (one day a week)

Phase 1: 100% of students engaged in distance learning. Few/No students on campus.


Currently, FSUSD is planning for Phase 1. That decision will be reviewed in October.
