It is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you back to the 2019-2020 school year! I hope that your summer was relaxing and filled with adventure. The opportunity to refuel over the summer is a necessary component of the important work that you do. I know that we are about to begin a GREAT school year filled with hope, vision and excitement. As we begin this new year, I wish everyone the greatest success as we welcome our students to their educational journey of 2019-2020. This is the YEAR - it's going to be GREAT!

NOTES:
- New teachers report to LSUS - University Center on Monday, August 5 - Wednesday, August 7 -Sign-in is at 7:30 AM.
- All teachers report to school on Thursday, August 8 - SIgn-in and breakfast is at 7:35 AM (library).
- Paras report to school on Friday, August 9.
- Teachers and paras are in attendance on Friday, August 9 - Sign-in and breakfast is at 7:35 AM (auditorium).
- Jeans and FHE t-shirts may be worn on August 8 and 9 (see Jackie Smith for FHE t-shirts).
- Classrooms are to be prepared before leaving school on Thursday, August 8.
- Faculty Picture - Friday, August 9 at 1:00 PM. We will wear our new FHE t-shirt and jeans for the picture (see Jackie Smith for our new FHE t-shirt.)
- Pre-K Parent Meeting on Friday, August 9 at 2:00 PM.
- Open House is on Friday, August 9 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
- The building closes at 4:30 PM next week.
- We'll discuss a Saturday, August 10 building opening (if needed).
- The building will not be open on Sunday, August 11.
- First day for students is Monday, August 12.
- Wear BLUE on Monday, August 12 - It's said that BLUE is very calming. *This is for fun and unity...not mandatory.
- Brief faculty meeting in the library on Monday, August 12 at 3:30 PM.
