I would like to extend my congratulations to Katie Chirhart. She has been recognized by the Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators (LACUE) as the Elementary Teacher of the Year for this region. She will receive her award at the LACUE Conference in New Orleans, December 8th. We are Shreve Island proud of Mrs. Chirhart and all the work she does with our students.

Bulldog Pack Application (Student School-Wide Jobs)
If your child is interested in joining the Bulldog Pack, please fill out the online application linked to the Shreve Island Library website, bulldoglibrary.com, or use this link: https://goo.gl/DK5w7z. The application will be available the week of Nov. 9-13. Students will apply for a team, and the Lighthouse team will assign them a specific job and schedule according to their responses on the applications. Students are also allowed to apply in the Library during Reading Club from 7:30-7:55 if you do not have internet access. Please send a note with your child to show Mrs. Bryant so she will know to direct the child to a computer in the library.
