Online Courses Begin January 17th.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy New Year!!!!
I hope you all had a restful and amazing holiday break, saw families, threw snow, ate some great food, and above all enjoyed your time.
PAIDEIA is back in the swing. We are gearing up for a new semester with lots of new families and new learning to be had. Remember that all courses begin January 17th for PAIDEIA students. Dual-enrolled students should have started today. Check with your local school for schedules.
Keep your eyes open for exciting events and excursions that students and families can partake in this semester.

PAIDEIA SLP Days January 9-13
Families,
Your advisor has or will be reaching out to you to plan your semester two classes. During these meetings, it is important to communicate to your advisor your wishes so that we can work together to plan the best educational experience for your student.
Students who struggled in online learning will be recommended for cyber lounge tutoring as a requirement for continuing online classes.
Elementary families be reminded that work samples need to be collected at quarter and semester for progress reporting.

Reimbursement Deadline
Reminder for families that the DEADLINE 2nd Semester 3:00 PM April 21, 2023 for purchases dated 12/1/22 - 4/14/23
Make your lives easier by submitting receipts as you get them instead of waiting until the end of the semester.
Independent Study Classes
As we begin the new semester please take note that all middle and high school independent study classes (PE, Cooking, Art, etc.) require weekly logged time in canvas. All of these courses have outlines in canvas of how to log time and provide artifacts. Grades and credit will be assigned based on the progress in each class. Please make sure students are monitoring their logs as the semester progresses.


Dungeons and Dragons Fridays from 12-2 Need at least three participants, all 5-12 are welcome! High School credit may be earned for attending all sessions. | Sewing Club Students can make and take home items while learning unique skills. | Salmon Dissection After multiple school closures HOPEFULLY we will be able to have our salmon dissection. Students in 4-12th grade can learn about salmon with Mr. Bowes and Mr. Frost. |
