Communication

We will have some changes in the new year for communication. We will continue to rely on our website, social media, and traditional methods to keep parents and stakeholders informed. We will not publish the Talon News this year. I know this piece was enjoyable for many readers, but we do not have the classes that managed the publication in the past. We hope to have new and exciting communication ideas that students can help create. Our latest news and happenings will be shared in this newsletter format each week. A link to the newsletter will be accessible in our facebook feed and on our homepage at the link above. Please contact any office with any ideas you might have for improving our public relations. We love to hear and try great new ideas.

2018-2019 - A New School Year

We are so excited to begin a new school year!

The community of Seagraves is very different today than it was 50, 10, or 5 years ago. We anticipate this year will be very different than the last. Many of the same great people continue to live in and support our schools. We want to learn about and treasure the traditions that have made this such a great place to raise families.

We also look forward to blazing trails and establishing new traditions for our school this year. Seagraves Schools will have many new faces among students, staff, parents, and community members. We are excited to work together on such a wonderful team. Developing our children into successful members in the world of the future is a terrific challenge, and we consider it a blessing to take on the task with all of you.

Busy Spring at Seagraves ISD...

The spring season is one of the busiest for our school system. We will be sending students and staff on over 100 trips representing our community in a variety of academic and extra-curricular activities. It is a pleasure to serve in a community that supports our students in all of these endeavors. We will host some activities in Seagraves at our facilities and will travel across Texas for numerous state championship competitions in academics and athletics. As part of the plan to continuously update and maintain our facilities we will also have a few major projects underway. Asbestos abatement at the old elementary, LED light upgrade project in all district buildings, and accessibility modifications will have work crews on site at various times this spring and into the summer. Please continue to stay up to date on all activities and send in any news or requests that you have if we can help.
