Hour of Code
Join the Worldwide Challenge December 7-11 @ MHS Library
When: During Lunch and After School, 12/7 - 12/11
Where: MHS Library MakerSpace
This week is the Hour of Code Challenge, a worldwide event that invites everyone--from the complete newbie to the advanced coding star--to try computer coding and to learn something new through interactive online tutorials.
The MHS Library is hosting a support group all week during both lunches and after school for those who want to participate. We'll chart your progress in the library--for every hour of code you complete you’ll earn another entry in a gift card raffle. There will also be a gift card award for the most improved coder at the end of the week, and everyone’s coding contributions will be highlighted on the school website. Questions? Contact Neil Findley or Mrs. Colpi.
We'll kick off the event Monday after school from 2-3 p.m. Check out the different types of coding tutorials at http://code.org/learn. Still need convincing? Get inspired!
