NPS guest network

This network is intended for personal devices such as cell phones. Attaching school Macbooks to this network causes problems such as:


-filtering issues

-404 page not found errors

-student printing issues.

-slow Macbook login times

-issues with testing software


For years we had told students to switch between wifi networks to find the best connection. However, now we just need students to stay on NPS wifi only while at school. If your device has discovered the NPS guest network or you have any of the issues listed above please bring your Macbook to the tech desk in the library.

First week back

The first week back in session is a hectic but exciting time. It is also the time when the most devices will be brought back damaged. Please bring damaged devices to the tech desk in the library. We will be replacing them as quickly as possible. Please be patient with me and let me know if you have any questions

WHAT HAPPENS IF A STUDENT DEVICE GETS DAMAGED?

NPS replacement policy : Per district policy if you have the NPS Device Protection Plan the replacement device will be a Macbook. If you do not have the device protection plan the replacement device will be a google chromebook. Stolen devices also require a police report before a device can be replaced.


MEANING IF A STUDENT HAS A CHROMEBOOK THEY ARE NEEDING TO GET THE PROTECTION PLAN PURCHASED IN ORDER TO RECIEVE A MACBOOK AS A REPLACEMENT. IF YOU NEED TO PURCHASE THE PLAN YOU CAN DO SO BY CLICKING THE BUTTON BELOW.
