Synopsis:
Crazy For You is the classic tale of a boy, a girl, and a theater in need of salvation. Stage-struck Bobby Child works as a banker for his overbearing mother, Lottie, but spends his off hours practicing dance routines and sneaking in to audition for Zangler’s Follies, the most popular show in New York City, helmed by Bela Zangler, a temperamental Hungarian producer. Unfortunately, Bobby’s showbiz career is going nowhere, so when Lottie demands that he investigate a far-away customer who has defaulted on a mortgage, Bobby jumps at the chance to get out of town. Arriving in hot, quiet Deadrock, Nevada, Bobby falls for Polly Baker, the sweet and sturdy postmistress, whose father happens to own the beautiful, but decaying, Gaiety Theater, which he has been sent to seize. Now lovestruck, Bobby comes up with a plan: call in his friends, the Follies Girls, all the way from New York City, cast the locals-- a bunch of rundown cowboys with latent musical talent--and put on a show to save the old building. What could possibly go wrong? With a fast-paced and light-hearted script by Ken Ludwig, and a collection of the most beloved tunes of George and Ira Gershwin, including the day-dreamy “Can’t Be Bothered Now”, the catchy, high-energy “I Got Rhythm”, and the plaintive, romantic “Someone To Watch Over Me”, Crazy For You is a truly delightful homage to the beloved, optimistic musicals of the 1930s: a world of showgirls and cowboys, in which a city boy and a country girl reconcile their differences, fall in love, and save a theater, the old-fashioned way.Zombie Café

NURSES CORNER - How can I protect my child against flu?
Get a seasonal flu vaccine for yourself and your child to protect against seasonal flu viruses.
Take everyday steps to prevent the spread of all flu viruses. This includes:
- Cover your nose and mouth or elbow when you cough or sneeze. And then wash your hands.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you cough or sneeze. If soap and water are not available, alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Germs spread this way. Teach your child to take these actions too.
- Practice good health habits. Get regular exercise, get enough sleep, drink plenty of fluids eat a healthy diet and manage your stress.
- Avoid being in contact with others who are sick.
- Avoid crowds when the flu is spreading in your area.
- Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces, such as counters, light switches or doorknobs.
If you child does get the flu, here are some facts:
- The symptoms include fever, headache, chills and sweats, body aches, tiredness and weakness, dry persistent cough, sore throat and runny or stuffy nose.
- Remember the flu is contagious! The flu is spread when the person who has the flu, coughs, sneezes or speaks and sends the flu virus into the air.
- Drink plenty of fluids and rest.
- Stay home from school or any activity during the first days of the illness when the symptoms are the most severe and the infection is contagious.
- Children can return to school when the symptoms are improving and no fever for 24 hours.
