Message from Mrs. Klimpl

Dear Parents,

A huge thank you to all of you who came to visit this week for our Celebrate Education Week! What a wonderful turnout, and SO many parents and community friends took the time to write follow up feedback emails to teachers--- know how much they appreciate and value those notes… Your opinions always “count”!!!! Next week we will be involved in celebrating our Red Ribbon Week. Ask your children about the lessons and messages that teachers will be sharing throughout the week.

Please continue to encourage your children to participate in our first Pumpkin Decorating contest—they are all due on Monday, with the $3.00 entry fee.. Let the voting begin!!!!

Congratulations to Matthew Chapnick - District winner for September's Boomerang Asset - Caring!

Matthew Chapnick was recently chosen as the Boomerang Elementary Asset #26 Caring winner for the entire District!

Here is his nomination:

"Linden would like to recognize a student who has frequently demonstrated his very caring heart by what he does in his actions everyday, rather than by his words. One staff member was so touched by the actions of this student on the first day of school this year, when he greeted her with a warm hug and took her by the hand to introduce her to each new member of his class.- as well as the new teacher in the classroom! After she had met all the new people, he made sure that no one else was left out and proceeded to escort her around making sure that every person was acknowledged with a smile or a hug. There are many other examples of his caring and sweet nature witnessed every day here at Linden, and so we are pleased to recognize Matthew Chapnick for his consistently caring actions towards others, without him having to say a word!"

Below, Matthew is pictured with his father, Mrs. Trauger, Kimberly Cambra (Director of CB Cares) & Mrs. Klimpl.
