Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
Welcome to ERHS! We are the best at getting better! I am at ERHS on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am located in B104 and my alpha is A-Z. I am also the ERHS Reach Higher Club Advisor. In addition to being a counselor at ERHS, I am also a school counselor at Citrus Hills Intermediate school the other days of the week.
About Ms. Grijalva...
Ms. Grijalva is from El Paso, TX. She came to California on a scholarship where she played basketball, ran cross country and played in the handbell choir at California Baptist University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. She has a credential in School Counseling from the University of Redlands. She has been a school counselor for 17 years where she has experience working at the middle and high school level. She has served as an Outreach Counselor (K-12), University Adjunct Instructor, University of California Application Reader, TN Achieves Mentor, and High School Basketball Coach. She serves on local, state, and national committees to have a voice in the decisions that affect our students. She was featured in Forbes 2X, was a Finalist for the 2015 California School Counselor of the Year, and was recognized by the U.S. Air Force as a Distinguished Educator. She was also named the 2022 National Life Changer of the Year. Ms. Grijalva is a champion for students in assisting them to reach for higher education or training through financial aid.
