Safety Concern: Bathroom / Hall Passes
There has been an uptick in students out of class with no pass. This is NOT the ARSA way and we support - 100% of the time, 100% of our students have a correct hall pass for any reason to be out of your class.
Student name(s), teacher name legibly, time, date, and destination. Students will be walked backed to the teachers class when students are in the hallway without proper documentation.

He will always try, adjusts, and continue to "act to improve". He has a high standard for his own practice, and his students benefit from his commitment to their learning. Keep up the good work!

Spotlight on: Remikie, Quintana, and Coach Garcia- Team & Lead
I would like to spotlight the following:
Ms. Remikie
Ms. Quintana
Coach Garcia
Not only did these wonderful educators jump at the opportunity to assist with donations for the game, but they also assisted by being chaperones for the SMU field trip!
Also, I would also like to send an extra shout out to Ms. Remikie who worked behind the scenes to make sure that our ARSA students not only had a wonderful campus tour experience, but also enjoyed the football game between SMU and Tulsa University!!!
Spotlight on Ms. Woods - Team!
Ms. Fuller writes:
I would love to spotlight Mrs.Woods for an outstanding job on this week helping me cover Ms. Christopher class.. Mrs.Woods taught the class how to do slopes, she was very patient, kind, and even encouraging to the students and myself as well. She made sure the students understood before she left from the class because she wanted them to perform well on their upcoming assessments. I really appreciate all the help Mrs.Woods provided to the class even though it was my job to cover the class that day. Thank you so much Mrs.Woods for your time, determination, & dedication to ARSA students.
Spotlight on Mrs. J.Miller - Learn. Lead. Achieve
Mrs. Miller embarked on a journey last year when an annual dance festival was in need of a new host site. This Friday and Saturday it is no longer a dream event it is happening this weekend. Mrs. Miller has worked to coordinate the efforts, while teaching, along with our fantastic ARSA supporter Mr. Espie. In addition to supporting the Drill team as well. Mrs. J. Miller is always seeking ways to engage her students and expand what they think is possible with dance, in front and behind the scenes as well. She is always juggling several different events and all the while doing so with grace and modeling professionalism every step of the way.
The dance festival outgrew its original venue in South Dallas and ARSA is home to the festival for the first time which showcases 30+ dance troupes from across DISD and neighboring areas. Master classes and round table discussions are another added benefit to all those that attend.
Our students are being exposed to a new level of production and our own ARSA students are the tech crew. This is so amazing and way to bring the ARTS together with Technology.
Thank you tremendously to Mrs. Miller for your continued passion and commitment to excellence for not just our own students by the dance and performing arts community of Dallas. Thank you for doing what you do and exposing our campus to a larder community. Way to go!!
