October 12th - 29th GT Nomination Window
It’s GT nomination time! The window for referring students for Gifted and Talented testing starts October 12th and will close on October 29th. This year the GT identification process is a little different. Anyone can nominate a student that you believe is GT. Once referred, the process consists of the Cogat screening, the completion of a teacher and parent SIG form, a student interview and the final evaluation/ parent notification. Please take the time to nominate students by completing the GT referral form . If you are unsure if your child is GT, or are unaware of the qualities/ characteristics of a GT student, please review the presentation linked below or feel free to reach out to your student’s counselor with any questions you might have. You can also visit the district’s Gifted and Talented page for more information. Have a wonderful week and GO BRONCOS!
