Food Pantry Challenge
Nov. 4th - Nov. 15th – Students and staff will be working to meet the challenge to donate 6,000 pounds of food to the local Food Pantry. The Food Pantry experiences shortages this time of year and this project has helped many families in our community. If the challenge is met, the students and staff will be rewarded with NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.
Nonperishable food items as well as cash donations will be accepted.
$1.00 donated = 5 lbs.
Adverse Weather Schedule
When adverse weather conditions make it advisable, school closings will be announced over KKAN/KQMA radio (92.5 FM or 1490 AM). Late starts will also be announced over the radio station. Closings and late starts will also go out on our Panther Alerts system sponsored by First National Bank and Trust. To sign up for this service, go to our school web site at www.usd325.com. It is a good policy for parents to tune in to the radio any morning that looks snowy or icy to find out if school will be delayed or canceled. At no time will school breakfast be served when school starts later than the usual 8:00 A.M.
