Walkthrough News

#ToroFamily

Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year. While the start to this year is nothing like any of us could have predicted, we are excited to welcome all of our Toro Family to an amazing school year. This year's walkthroughs are going to be a little different than in the past but also will have some familiarity to them. It is important to note that we will be following ALL county health guidelines during our walkthroughs. Social distancing and maintaining at least 6 ft apart will be required (we will have markings to assist you with this). Additionally, everyone entering campus will be required to wear a mask. No one will be allowed to enter campus without a face covering. We also ask that you please limit the number of people from your household who come to one parent/guardian and one student. Students are not required to attend but may accompany one other adult from the same household. Students and adults from different households must maintain the social distancing requirement while on/near campus. We look forward to seeing everyone. Please see below for more detailed information.

Text Messaging coming to MDUSD [NEW]

Our district-wide school messenger service is expanding to now include text messages. If you would like to receive text messages please text 'Y' or 'YES' to 67587. This is a great way to ensure you are receiving the most up to date information from EDMS. For more information, a flyer can be found here (for Espanol click here). If you would not like to receive text messages there are instructions on how to opt-out.

*If you know of someone who does not receive this newsletter, have them visit our school website here and fill in their email address to subscribe to it.

2020-21 School Year Week of Walkthroughs

This year's Walkthroughs will be spaced out over the course of a week in order to follow social distancing requirements and limit the number of people on campus at one time. Please see the schedule below for your scheduled walkthrough time. You may come at any time during your day and time window and it should be a very short process (especially if you update your information online, see below) If you are unable to make your original day/time, makeup days will be held on Thursday, 8/6 and Friday, 8/7. We have provided larger time slots to space everyone out so please be aware that you may be asked to come back at another time if we exceed the appropriate amount of people on campus.

We are asking that ALL families access Homelink through our Parent Portal here prior to coming to Walkthrough in order to speed up the process. Once in Homelink you will need to check the Data Confirmation section and complete it. If you are unable to do this we will need to verify your information in person at Walkthrough. If you need your Homelink letter in order to update your information and keep track of student grades, please complete this form.

Please follow the links below for our WoW Flyer with more information as well as our WoW Checklist for the day of (you can print out and bring in or we will have copies at the front). If you have any questions please let us know here. *Pictures will NOT be taken at this time. They will be scheduled for another date.
