ENROLLMENT FOR 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
All families should have received an email with the link to their student's enrollment last week Friday, May 13! Enrollments are due June 1, 2022.
LEGACY RETIREMENTS
We are so excited to celebrate with a number of staff members who are retiring from Legacy Christian School. While we are so sad to see them go, we are excited for what is in store for them next. In the past, we have had a retirement open house for people to provide their congratulations. This year, the retiring group preferred to not have such an event but we still want to celebrate their years of service and commitment to Legacy. We are encouraging people to write a note of thanks to our retiring staff members…maybe it’s a memory, a picture, or a small gift. There are baskets at each campus to give your note or gift. Thank you to each of you…Well done, good and faithful servant.

As communicated by email last week to west campus parents, the west campus will be experiencing somewhat bigger changes as most teachers are taking on different assignments. Some of these changes are bigger than others, and we are blessed with amazing teachers who are willing to accept these changes and work to do what is best for the school. We are still uncertain about final assignments as we are still looking to hire one more teacher. Please keep this process in prayer.

ELEMENTARY FIELD DAY
POPS CONCERT
Walk-A-Jog-A-Thon
Why do we have a WAJAT? Our WAJAT helps raise money for specific projects each year. The school and PTO work together to decide what the money will go toward. This year our funds will be used to purchase books for both campuses and Teacher Wish List Items.
Why involve our kids? The WAJAT not only raises funds, but helps to build school spirit and community. It allows our kids to have a hand in helping meet the needs of their school. It also is a chance for the whole family to be involved. The community surrounding our buildings see our school family coming together to have fun!
What can I do? Help your child collect donations. Volunteer at school that day. There are many ways for everyone to be involved. Join us for the WAJAT on May 20, from 1:30-2:30 pm, at Cutler Park, next to the middle school.
What do I say when asking for donations? "Hi! My name is __ _ l am collecting donations to help my school, Legacy Christian, purchase books and items on my teachers wish list. We will be having a Walk-A-log-A-Thon on May 20. We will have lots of fun running the course and raising money for our school. Would you be willing to donate, please?" You can also tell them that books are not an item in the school's budget, so they will be paid for with the WAJAT monies!
Always remember to say "Thank You!"
