TUESDAY LEARNING-AT-HOME DAY March 30
As you may have read, Tuesday is a Learn-At-Home-Day. Our district is vaccinating staff members in coordination with the state and federal goals to get educators vaccinated by the end of March. To do this, we are needing to close the buildings so that teachers are available for the vaccination clinic.
Like other Learn-At-Home days that we have had this year, we will be providing activities and guidance for students to complete the learning at home on Tuesday, March 30.
On Monday, teachers will send home a SMORE with Tuesday's learning and directions. Students will be able to log into their Google Classroom to access pre-recorded videos and activities. Some grades may also send some supplemental activities home in students' backpacks. Teachers will not be available for live class instruction due to the vaccination clinic. All staff members will report to work, however, vaccination appointments prevent us from scheduling live class instruction.
Homework Helpline
If your child needs assistance with work during the Learn-From-Home Day, have them use the following Google Meet:
This virtual helpline will be available between 9am-10:30am, and 1-3pm.
Thank you for supporting this important effort our district is providing to our staff members. Our hope is this gift of vaccination will help us keep our staff, your families, and our community safe and healthy, and that we will be a step closer to getting back to normal. School will resume on Wednesday after this short one-day closure.
If you are planning ahead, the second vaccination date is April 20, which will also be a Learn-From-Home Day.
Coming Soon! Order your 2021-2022 school supplies online.
