Robert Hunter Report
June 4 2023
Dear Robert Hunter families,
June is a busy month! Continue to stay updated by reading our newsletter, and we hope to see many families at the upcoming virtual PTO meeting on June 8th. We are looking forward to Field Day on June 9th. More information about the day is included below.
This past week, 4th grade students attended a field trip at the Da Vinci Science Center- thank you to our parent chaperones and to the PTO for supporting this wonderful experience for our students.
We are having many special activities as the school year ends. Encourage your children to stay focused on ending the year strong. We hope to make the most of these 12 days left of school!

Field Day will be held on June 9th. The rain date is June 12th. We will have an outer space theme for the day. Thank you Ms. Marino and Mr. Hopkins for organizing this fun day for the students. Grades K-2 will have Field Day in the morning, and Grades 3-4 will have Field Day in the afternoon.
Students should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes. Please apply sunblock at home in the morning. Sunblock can not be applied at school. Please pack a water bottle for your child as well as a complete change of clothes, as students may get wet during water games.
Only parents who signed up as volunteers with the PTO are permitted to attend Field Day. Parent spectators are not permitted. We will share pictures of the day!
After school Clubs
Please note that the only after-school programs that run the week of June 5th are Busy Builders, Music Theatre, and Crazy 8s (make-up session).
