Introduction
Hello, my name is John and I am will be telling you all about Ancient Greece! It is a wonderful place to learn about, there are many interesting things about it. I will be talking about their climate, how they get food, and their physical features.
Problem #1
A major problem they had was there was lots of mountains, and their land was dry and rocky. Because of this it was hard to grow crops. Crops is a major part in their life because they needed food to survive. Their solution to this was to sail and trade. They sailed near the land in the Mediterranean Sea because they didn't have any maps to show them where their going.
Problem #2
Another problem they had was communication. The mountains separated them into different communities/city-states. They all spoke the same language, but they just had trouble communicating.
Problem #3
The last problem they had was traveling by land was very difficult. Because of all the mountains made it hard to walk on, they didn't have cars like we do. It would take them a couple days or even more to travel to another city-state.
Climate and Physical Features
They only have summer and winter, unlike is where we have summer, winter, fall, and spring. In the summer its mostly very hot and humid. In the winter, it cool and mild. Most days they would wear light clothing because it would be hot, but if it gets chillier they would put a cloak on to keep them warmer.
Some physical features they have are mountains, peninsulas, and islands. Ancient Greece is 80% full of mountains, the whole thing is a peninsula, and some islands are Athens, Olympia, and Sparta, etc..
