Centerview families,
Three days, WHEW, that was a quick one. However, when I think about my daily learning walk throughs, students were movin’ and shakin’ as they filled their days with continued curiosity and knowledge.
We were also able to take advantage of our annual Centerview Sledding Day on Mount National Sports Center. What a ton of fun, right across the street, for our Centerview students and staff to spend quality snow time running up and down the mountain. Check out the pictures…we had FUN!
So, with the fast and furious three days, please remember there is no school tomorrow, Friday, or Monday. We will return to school Tuesday, February 22.
As students return to Centerview on Tuesday, February 22, face masks will be strongly recommended but no longer required. We continue to see declining COVID-19 activity and have been working through just a handful of requests from families to change learning models – to in-person or to online.
As communicated last week, because of the low number of requests and because our COVID-19 absences are at a low 1.5 percent, we are able to implement the revised revised Face Mask Decision-Making Guide early. We will continue to monitor COVID activity and respond as needed in alignment with the guidance that is in place.
Next week, The Panther Foundation is leading a spirit week and week of giving. There’s fun planned for all including four days of spirit wear and CENTERVIEW will participate! And, of course, the week concludes with a Panther party. Check out the newsletter for more information. I hope to see a white out on Tuesday when we return to school!
Enjoy your long weekend and when we return, let’s continue to combine learning and fun as we partner in engaging our CV students.
Take care,
Mike
