Work ethic is a set of values based on the standards of discipline and hard work. Here are the components of a good work ethic:
Focus and Persistence
- Persistence is the ability to stay focused on tasks for as long as necessary to get them done.
- Focusing allows you to block out all distractions in an effort to use your time wisely.
Finish Tasks in a Timely and Efficient Manner
- Do not procrastinate and immediately tackle your work tasks.
- Do things properly.
Always Be Punctual
- Set the clock ahead a few minutes.
- Plan to leave the house extra early.
Be Professional
- Be kind and positive.
- Be respectful of others.
- Be responsible and get your work done.
Create a Work-Life Balance
- Get enough sleep.
- Take time to recharge.
- Do something just for fun!
