CKE Monday Notes

"If It's to Be, It's Up to Me"

Welcome Back!

Welcome Back Coker Family! We hope that everyone had an outstanding Thanksgiving and enjoyed your time off. As we move into the next three weeks prior to Christmas break we know that we will continue to work hard but will also take some time to celebrate the holidays. The holidays are a GRRREAT time of the year to slow down a little and breathe! REMINDER - Don't forget our Green Team and Blue Team PLC meetings this afternoon! Green Team meets in Adrian's room with her and the Blue Team will meet in the back of the media center with me. Be sure and bring an activity with you to share!

Leadership Team Meeting

On Friday afternoon (12/4) from 12-3 our Leadership team will meet in Adrian's room. Lunch will be provided and coverage will be arranged for classes. There are some important items that we must address ASAP! Coverage will be as follows: 1st - Howard (Truelove) , 2nd - Split Cloer's class due to Page's absence, 3rd - Blaylock (Welch), 4th - Winkler (Mason), 5th - Jarvis (Hall), and 6th - Headrick (Rogers). We had hoped to meet earlier in the week but with various trainings and things going on the earliest that we could meet is Friday. THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S HELP WITH THIS!

Upcoming GDOT Meeting at CKE

Coming up on Thursday evening the DOT will be hosting a community forum/meeting in our gym to hear public input on an upcoming project on Hwy. 52. There is nothing that anyone needs to do but we just wanted you to be aware of the meeting prior to Thursday. The DOT folks will be here to begin setting up between 3:30 and 4:00.

Christmas Store Next Week

Next week our Christmas store will be set up in Mrs. Sanders old kindergarten classroom across from Renda's old room. This Friday will be our preview day if you would like to take your students down to visit. Please check with Mrs. Hensley regarding the schedule if you have any questions. Thanks for your support of this fundraising project!

Quote of the Week

"The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and of generosity and of goodness. It illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world's busy life and become more interested in people than in things." - Thomas S. Monson
