WANT TO RUN FOR STUCO?
There will be two different meetings for students that are interested in running for a position in Student Council. The meetings will be held on Wednesday, March 8th at 7:30 am and 3 pm in Room 1506. Students only need to attend one of these meetings. If students have any other questions, please see Mrs. Neibling in Room 1506.
As an added note, Student Council has decided to remove the position of At-Large Student Council and is instead moving to event and topic-specific committees. This will allow more students to be involved in Student Council activities and also be involved with things they are most interested in.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY APPLICATIONS
NHS applications are due no later than 3:00pm on Thursday, March 9th. Students can submit applications to Ms. Mendenhall in Room 2207. Incomplete applications will not be considered for membership.
SPRING SPORTS PICTURES
Pete Iseman Photography will be capturing spring sports portraits on March 20 (Team and Individual images). You can access the gallery by texting AHSSPRING23 to 90738. You can also use your computer browser by going to galleries.photoday.io .
If you access the gallery prior to the photo day, you can pre-purchase a credit and earn free shipping and 10% off your order. It is not required to prepurchase a credit. You can still purchase at retail once we have them posted. Those who get the free shipping and discount will save about $11 on their order. By visiting the gallery prior to the photoshoot, you can also opt-in to the gallery which puts you on a notification list to send a message alerting them once the images are posted and ready.

NOTES FROM THE OFFICE
We have completed hearing and vision screenings on all new to district students as well as all sophomores, per our state mandates. If there were any concerns with the screening we conducted you would have received a letter in the mail from our office.
Has your child visited the dentist recently, or do they have an upcoming appointment? If so please have your dentist fill out the following sheet and return it to our office so we can update our records! Thank you for sharing your students with us! We hope everyone has a wonderful spring break.

LOST AND FOUND
SAVE THE DATE - DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE
This month we are focused on helping students understand that courage is not a magical remedy for fear. Instead, courage is a choice to push through fear, self-doubt, and anxiety to do things that feel hard or frightening. We are partnering with you this month to grow your child’s courage. This month’s activities will help your child understand that courage can equip them to make a positive impact at home, at school, and in the community.
Engage: Courage Role Play Discuss having the courage to do the right thing. As a family, role-play situations with your child where they might have to demonstrate courage. For example, role-play what it would look like if they saw a friend being rude to someone else at school. What would they do? How can courage help them stand up for what is right?
Andover High School is hiring resource paras for the spring semester. Use the link to apply. Email Sheryl Wiele (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
