The taj mahal (Post card)

Today I visted the Taj Mahal did you know that it was created by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it is very famous and is know all over the world it was completed in 1653, it took 21 years to complete. It brings over 3 million people each year!

Bollywood is the Hollywood of India or its the Indian movie industry, and its based in Mumbai (Bombay)!

The Government of India (GoI) is officially know as the central government it has the control of 27 states and 7 union territories know as the Republic of India, and New Delhi is the capital.


Why are so many Indians vegetarians?

That is because Hindus belive that a person after dieing can come back in any shape or form and all animals could be someone they know so animals are scared to them it would be like eat another human.


Is the belief in rebirth, that means that the Hindus believe that animals are people re birthed.


Is the whole process (cylce) of rebirth with no clear being middle or end


Diwali is the celebration of lights associated with Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity. It is held October to November, it is the mark of fiscal year in India

Mahatmas Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi biography

Mahatma Gandhi, was born on October 2, 1869 in Porbandar. At age 13 Mahatma married Kasturbai Makanin. Mahatma went to the collage of London. After graduating Mahatma went to South Africa and fought against discrimination for 21 years until he moved back to India he supported India separating from England.

Mahatma was arrested three times for "causing unrest the public" He was known for being a nice man and made many speeches the inspired lots of people. For some reason Nathuram Godse wanted Mahatma dead, he tried to assassination Mahatma 4 times before he finally did kill him. January 30, 1948, in New Delhi Nathuram shot him at point blank 3 times killing him.
