Nutrition Services Update

Negative Lunch Balances

It has come to the attention of the Nutrition Services Department that Negative Balance Notification emails are sometimes going directly to spam folders, leaving parents unaware of negative balances on their child's account. Please remember to check your student's PayForIt account and address any outstanding negative balance before the end of the school year. Cash and check payments can be made at your child's school front office, and credit/debit card payments can be made through the portal.

Free & Reduced Meal Program - 2023-24

The application for the 2023-24 Free & Reduced Meal Program will be available starting in July 2023. Please watch for an email this summer with instructions and more information on this program.

For all of your Nutrition Services related questions, please contact Gia Saporito, Director of Nutrition Services at or by phone at 503-825-5009.

Transportation Department Updates

Last Day of School

We will be transporting our elementary and middle school students home at the same time on June 13. Please note that our buses may run late as a result.

App Change and Routes for the 2023-24 School Year

All 2023-24 bus routes will be completed with stop times by August 21st. Please check your Ride360 app after August 21 for the updated stop location and times for your student. If you don’t have the Ride360 app or need help with the registration please contact us at 503-825-5900.

Health Services Department Updates

Student Medication

If your student has medication at school (prescription or over-the-counter), please make sure to pick up any remaining medication from your child's school by June 14th. Medication can be returned to school offices once they reopen in August. Please remember that a new Medication Authorization Form must be filled out each year and provided to the front office, along with the medication in its original container.

Updating Student Health/Medical Information

Please make sure that the SSD Health Services Department has your child's up-to-date health information prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year. Please contact us at or 503.825.5088 with changes or new information.
