Greetings LES Families,
It is almost that time!! We have been preparing to welcome our wonderful Laburnum Lions back with open arms for the 2022 - 2023 school year!!
Please don't forget to join us for our Open House on Friday, August 26, 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Open House Details
- Meet your child's teacher and drop off school supplies.
- Pick up family number car tags. This is very important! We use the family number car tags for dismissing our students. It is important that you have your tag prior to the first day of school to help us help you get your student(s) in a timely manner.
- We will have a limited supply of bookbags available for any Laburnum student who may need one.
- Staff members will be available to answer any transportation and PowerSchool Parent Portal questions you may have.
Our hard working PTA team will also be available to accept membership registrations during that time. Check out the PTA section for more information about joining the PTA. Our goal is 100% family and staff participation. If you join by September 19th, you will be entered to win a $25 Walmart gift card!

Class Assignments
Official class assignments will be available in PowerSchool Parent Portal on Monday, August 22nd after 9:30 AM.

Student bus route information is expected to be available in PowerSchool on Monday, August 22nd after 9:30 AM.
E-Collect Online Forms & PowerSchool Parent Portal
It is time to complete the Back-to-School online forms! Completing this information before the start of school ensures that we have accurate information on file for your student. You can access all online forms through the Parent Portal on Power School.
If you have not already registered in PowerSchool, please do so prior to the start of school. You will need your child's 11-digit student ID number. This number is located on your child's report card. If you are unable to locate the number, please stop by the school to receive it. We do not give this information out via email or phone.

KG - 5th Grade Registration
We are still actively enrolling students for the upcoming school year. Please call to schedule an appointment, (804) 228-2720.
If you have started the enrollment process but haven't completed it, call the school immediately. Your student will not be able to start on the first day if the enrollment process in incomplete.

After School Information
Our 21st Century Learning Center afterschool program will be occurring again this year. Students will be identified and then invited to attend the program by our Program Coordinator, Rafer Giles. The start date for the program will be September 26th. More information is forthcoming. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Giles at
