ICT Customer Support Coordinator - Warwickshire County Council
Specific Attributes
For this job role you will be expected to have a reasonable amount of experience of coordinating a helpdesk function. This means you need to have a good understanding of how helpdesks work in general. In this role you will be expanding and developing the skills, about helpdesks, you already know. This is a very important role so being reliable is key. You will need to be able to deliver a high standard of customer care and satisfaction, whilst doing so, managing stakeholder and customers expectations. You will need to be friendly towards the clients and be expected to use your own initiative when needed.
General Attributes
For this role you will need to have very strong communication skills as you will be dealing with customers and stakeholders on a day to day basis. You will need to be able to negotiate, influence, persuade and take lead to help customers understand what they want and what they need to do supporting them of our Social Care and Health ICT Systems. Dealing with external stakeholders including service providers and partners is also a key aspect in the communication role as you are expected to deal with them also. You will need to have a good attitude when dealing with anyone as you are representing the company.

Senior Software Engineer - DSTL
Specific Attributes
For this role you will need to have knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java or UML. You will also need to be a highly skilled user of MS Office, NetBeans and MS Visual Studio 2012. You will need to know how software configuration management and controls function. You will be developing and test engineering different software products during their lifecycle. You will need to lead the junior developers in their work whilst giving ideas and suggestions for how to improve software and their testing processes.
General Attributes
You will need to be able to work in a small team also being able to lead and share your ideas when requested from senior roles. You will have to be assisting the junior developers in a team, making sure that they are on task and focused for the job they are doing. You will need to be able to communicate with the team and explain technical concepts to them more simply if need be. You have to be articulate and good with people for this role. Problem solving is key in this aspect as you are going to have to work together to resolve issues and come up with new concepts.
